We have just added a handful of new themes to choose from. Check the Manage Site / Themes section to see if any will work for your site. Select the Style Category called 'Distinctive' and you'll find three new designs  (Imperial, Western and Sheet Music) plus, there's a new series called 'Studio' in the 'Workshop' Style Category.

Apparently 93% of all blog comments across the internet are spam and MosaicGlobe blogs are no different. We have been targeted by spammers as of late and in response we have integrated Aksimet; a spam filter for blog comments. You don't need to do anything to use the service, it has already been installed on every blog across the network.

We have taken a step towards implementing an integrated search across the MosaicGlobe network. On the MosaicGlobe main page we have added an Explore MosaicGlobe field that allows guests and members to search through the sites by medium, title, description, artist , etc. Searchable keywords (Tags) can be assigned to nearly any item within your site: pages, images, files. documents, etc. Visitors can also check out popular tags currently being used via the Tag Cloud.

Adding searchable Tags to your site is easy. When adding or editing content include relevant keywords in the "Tags/Keywords" field. For example; add your name and medium to a page and add descriptive words to a photo.

FREE accounts now have 5 pages for more text, galleries, blogs, etc. and each gallery will now accept up to 25 images. BASIC and PLUS accounts have also been upgraded. BASIC account storage is now 2.5 GB (from 250 MB) and PLUS storage is now 5GB (was 500MB). Enjoy!

This afternoon we uploaded a new set of site themes called 'Folio'. With a dark background and a wider layout, these new designs have been tailored to professionally showcase photos and colorful artwork. Change your site style from the 'Themes' page of the  'Manage Site' section. 

We have integrated a new administrative panel this morning. This new interface should simplify the site management process. The panel has some new styles attached to it so refresh the page if these pages look goofy.

Also, we have implemented a lightbox feature into the galleries. This is a cool new way to browse through all the images on a page. Click on a gallery thumbnail to open the lightbox. We hope you think it's as cool as we do!

7 new styles have been added today under a new category called 'Workshop'. Find site themes in the admin panel under manage site / themes. We also added 7 new designs into the Collections category.

8 new styles have been added to the themes style category called ‘Glossy’ (admin / manage site / themes). Also, a few new styles were also added to the ‘Color Palette’ category as well.

MosaicGlobe will be updating the system on Wednesday January 25 and Thursday January 26. Updates will occur in the a.m. and site visitors may experience slower page loads. Site updates will include new processes that will drastically increase page loads. We will also be adding a new ‘Media Library’ page type to share music, video and documents.

Today we added two new features to MosaicGlobe! First is a new page type that will add a contact form to your webpage. Your site visitors now have a simple way to email you directly from your site. To add a form select ‘contact’ from the ‘create a page’ drop down.

The second new feature is the ability to Publish and Un-publish individual pages from your site via the manage site page. Now you can develop a page and choose to publish it later. The page will not be seen by your site visitors until it is published. You can also mark a page as unpublished rather than delete it if you think you might be using it again.

23 new styles are now available in the following categories. 10 in Albums (Collection), 5 in Portfolio (Life) and 7 in structured (Metro).

New Gallery Options are now in place: 1. ) Set the number of images per gallery page, 2. ) Choose to show square thumbnails rather than ratio thumbs, 3. ) Choose to hide the image titles on the thumbnail page. See the support documentation for additional information.

Blog Comments: allowing users to post comments can now be set per journal page rather then globally in the 'edit account' section. Review the Journal (Blog) section of the documentation for additional information.
