My visit to Mexico was during the time before we had kids. I has surprised Gabi by booking a 5 nights in Cancun. I think the deal was done via FunJet where you get the whole package including accommodation. it was quite affordable. But after getting to so-called Mexico, we were shocked how this city was not Mexican at all. It was so Americanized and so disappointing. We experienced bunch of teens, American of course, walking drunk in very corner and the only things we could see in the locals who work there is the dollar sign ‘$$$”.  And beside them, were those timeshare sharks and tried everything possible to make you a life-long contract for a piece of mind in your vacation.
