Re: image description not showing up...

Hi Joshua,

I've noticed this behavior on occasion, myself. It appears to me that it only happens when the thumbnail page is not completely loaded. You could test this observation (like I did) by clearing your browser cache and loading a page you know has several thumbnails on it. Try to open an image before all the thumbnails load, and you should see the behavior describe. Then load another page, but don't open an image until all the thumbnails have loaded for that page.

It may or may not be a bug; my suspicion is that it has more to do with your browser's load order (ie. simple html and images before scripts, etc.).

Cool work, by the way! I've been a big fan of street art for many years (even had a letter to the editor published in the Rocky Mountain News several years ago, defending it). Really like your style, and how you blend traditional design and illustration techniques with what we used to call Wild Style. (Did I just date myself?)

Cheers!

image description not showing up...

I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem...

when i click on a page, all the information (text, images, links, etc.) uploads but then when i click on the small image to enlarge it, a white screen appears with my pic in the upper left hand corner and nothing else. it comes and goes... every other day or so.

thanks...

Re: Music file not uploading properly

For all interested,

The problem turned out to be that the MP3's needed to be of a sample rate > 44.1kHz.

Can't change the theme

I tried to email support but haven't had any luck with this one. I have a free account with 5 pages. When I try to change the style by clicking on a radio button, I get a window that says "Do you want to switch to this theme?" I click yes, and then nothing happens. Maybe I'm missing something...was I supposed to choose a style before creating pages, or am I stuck with Palette Graphite forever? I also looked at the guides on the site, and have so far found that where it says 'Your Current style is:' does not have an 'edit' link like is pictured on the guide. Any ideas?

Music file not uploading properly

First, we wanted to thank Mosaic Globe for the improvements and upgrades on the site, they're terrific.

We've been having problems uploading a music file to our page where our Members showcase their songs. It appears that it is just this one song; thinking that it was perhaps a bug in the new code, and as we had a second song to post, we tried it with the second song and it uploaded perfectly. Just seems to be this one song.

Here's some of the details - we're running IE 6 at the moment (and yes, we saw the notice about Mosaic Globe no longer supporting IE 6 after August 1st). The file is an .mp3 at 128 kbs and is almost 2 minutes long. When this first began we thought it might be because the song was too short (36 seconds) so with the permission of the song's creator we made a longer remix. And here is what happens: we'll select the song on the uploading page, title it and give a short description, click "save" once to make it upload, then click "save" again to save the page as a whole. Now, while this is happening the loading bar appears and there does not seem to be any activity on it. And since we are running IE 6, we have the status bar at the bottom of the page/screen, and when it indicates that it is done, then we click "save." When we click on "View my site" and click the play icon, it shows "Buffering" and freezes there. It doesn't play. Yet we uploaded a different song, also an .mp3 at 128 kps by another Member and it plays perfectly - and we did this after trying to upload the first song several times. Help would be appreciated!

page organization

Hi,

I want to be able to organize pages to deeper levels. As of now i can group pages together under one page, but I want to group pages within those pages and perhaps so on. Is this possible or am i missing something?
thanks,
Brandon
