There are very few states in the United States that are as beautiful as Utah. From its famous red rocks to its national forests to its sprawling city centers, Utah has it all. There are plenty of great destinations to visit in Utah, and it’s perfect great destinations to visit

1. Uinta Forest

With over eight hundred thousand acres, Uinta has everything an outdoor enthusiast could want. Fishing, camping, kayaking, skiing it’s all there for you to enjoy. The forest has something for everyone to enjoy all year long. It’s no wonder that Uinta is such a popular destination spot.

2. Park City

Located in northern Utah, Park City is a popular destination filled with ski resorts. Once a mining town, Park City has matured into one of the best places to go skiing and snowboarding. But perhaps what Park City is best known for is the Sundance Film Festival held there every year. Unsurprisingly, Park City has a wealth of culture and fun to be had by all.

3. Arches National Park

Every road trip in Utah should stop by Arches National Park. This is what Utah is famous for. Natural arches made of sandstone and red rock dot the landscape of this park along with towering cliffs and spires, and rocks balanced upon high mesas. The scenery exists nowhere else in the United States. It is truly unique. If you’re an morning person or a night owl, make sure you take a view of the part during sunrise or sunset. It’s absolutely beautiful.

4. Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City is the largest city in Utah as well as its capital, It is the headquarters of the Church of Latter Day Saints, and in 2002 it featured the Winter Olympics. Salt Lake City is nestled between the Oquirrh Mountains and the Wasatch Range. This means that no matter where you look, you’ll be greeted by incredible scenery.

5. Great Salt Lake

Bordering Salt Lake City and lending the city its name, Great Salt Lake is unusual in that it is a saltwater lake. Exploring the salt flats of the lake can be a one of a kind experience that you shouldn’t miss out on.

6. Homestead Crater

While you’re road tripping you can stop by Homestead Resort and explore Homestead Crater. This crater features a natural geothermal hot spring that’s covered by a 55 foot tall dome of limestone. The water reaches depths of 65 feet and is perfect for both swimming and scuba diving. This makes it one of the only warm water diving sites in the United States.

Utah is a beautiful state that’s home to gorgeous Salt Lake City. It is a must for every traveler to visit once. Not only that, but there are plenty of destinations to explore.
