Develop - advanced functionality > Manipulating HTML Coding in Layouts

I have looked several places on the MG site for the answer to my question but to no avail so please forgive me if I've somehow missed it.

I was curious as to if it was possible to edit the layout of pages with HTML?

When I edit the templates I am using, it appears that only CSS is shown in the editor and this only allows for things like site color & font changes.

An example of what would like to do is to add a graphic to the side section of my page under my navigation links. At this time, I am unsure of where in my admin panel I would go to acheive this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) Thank you in advance.

I think I found the answer in another forum reply.

"MosaicGlobe is intended to be used by novice users, therefore we shut out a lot of advanced scripting and source access. When possible we allow access to advanced features (HTML source for individual pages and CSS layouts)..."

I suppose it's not possible?

On Jim's list of things to do is a sidebar add-on that would allow us to add graphics, lists, HTML etc. Then we can add stuff under the navigation menu. We'll get there...
