Their is currently only two options for thumbnails sizes.
The default aspect ratio and square.

Hello Danny,
Leave it to me to want to push the edge of the box right away.
In accepting that, I've added detail close-ups of the paintings - but in doing that I reached a new why? I get a cascade or jumpy effect on the page mixing image sizes - is there a way I can solve that? at first it was holes in the page (image space but no image in it)as I tried to place the square detail under the same not square image, then switched to place the details at the bottom - it shifted a different way.
sorry to be the one pushing the limits right off.
can I fix it by changing to a smaller datail image or unsquare?
Width? height? max?
here is a page I just did http://savanna.mosaicglobe.com/gallery/2674?page=2
I'll wait on your advice before doing more.
thank you,
savanna

Savanna
There are two things you can do to keep your gallery pages looking even.

1. Thumbnail Ratio: By default the gallery is set to display proper image ratios. This means that your thumbnails will all be different sizes if your originals are all different sizes. Select the 'Square Thumbs' option in the 'Edit Gallery Options' section to even all of the thumbnails to squares.

2. Title Length: Longer titles tend to wrap under the image below it. Switching to square images may also solve this but you may want to try shorter titles and leave the details for the details field ~or~ adjust the length of the title field in your styles css (Switch div.pic height setting to maybe 200px).
