I wanted to know if there was a way I can create a custom background for my site. I was looking at http://douglaskoke.mosaicglobe.com/ and his site gave me an idea for my site. I wanted if its possible.

Hi, Tosin. My name's Doug. Jim at MosaicGlobe was nice enough to forward me your post that referenced my site.

It's pretty easy to alter the background of your site-- provided you have a good working knowledge of Photoshop (or a similar image-editing program) and a basic understanding of CSS.

I'm a graphics guy, and not a developer, so I don't have any crazy HTML expertise, and I found it was pretty painless to switch things up. All you really need is some careful measuring and a bit of patience.

I'm about to run out the door right now, but if you like, I can put together an instruction sheet to walk you through how I changed the background images, heading, text, etc.

Just let me know-- I'd be happy to do that for you.

did you ever learn to create a custom background? I'd also like to learn how-to... Thanks
