Is there any place we can add a meta tag description? "used by most search engines" I do not have anything.

I was using this link to check how my site was doing...

thank you,

Hi Savanna
Meta tags are not commonly used by search engines much anymore. For a detailed tutorial on search engines please see the following article: MosaicGlobe and The Search Engines at http://support.mosaicglobe.com/blog/774/entry/1373

Hi Danny,
one more question - after reading through the link above...
we have the option of adding the title of the page (link name) or not,
I thought the page looked cleaner with out it , but is it more important for spidering? ...should I add them back in?
Thank you,
Savanna

That's a good question. The page title is listed in the menu and the title at the top of the browser. However if your really into optimizing for search engines then you may want to consider adding the title back into the page as well. Particularly if the title is descriptive of the page content. In the end it's your call. Visual vs. Functional, both are important for different reasons.
