Create - Using MosaicGlobe > Custom Background

July 29, 2007 at 12:58 GMT

Hello,

I wanted to know if there was a way I can create a custom background for my site. I was looking at http://douglaskoke.mosaicglobe.com/ and his site gave me an idea for my site. I wanted if its possible.

Cheers!

Tosin- At the Basic or above level you will have access to the style sheets (css) where you can edit existing themes or create your own. Doing so also requires a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS but we would love to answer any questions about the process here!

Hello Danny,

Thanks for the quick reply back.
I have basic knowledge of html and I'm learning css as we speak. Is there a tutorial on mosaicglobe or online that show me how to design and code a background image like on douglaskoke's site on mosaicglobe.

Thanks again,

Tosin Matti

There isn't a tutorial up but it's about time for us to make one so I'll make that a priority this week and I'll let you know when it's up.

Hey Tosin, A new tutorial is up. This is a basic overview of our CSS/HTML structure with a basic image placement. You can also download a template of the HTML and CSS to experiment with locally. http://support.mosaicglobe.com/journal/774

I created a new forum for using CSS questions if you have any.
Using MosicGlobe's CSS templates.
