I am a photographer and I need to protect myself from anyone being able to save pics to their computer.

How can I disabling right-click save capability on images?

Unfortunately the only way to avoid allowing viewers to store a copy of your image on their computer is not to share them at all.
Whether through a right click save or screen capture it is all too easy to get a copy. In fact, just by looking at your webpage a copy is most likely created in their cache folder without them doing anything at all.
The good news is the images uploaded to your site are converted and compressed for smaller image sizes. This means that although they look good on a monitor, if someone wanted to reproduce them commercially on say a 4x6 postcard, the result would be a low resolution, pixelated image. Print quality reproductions would be about 1 - 2 inches.
There is some risk in marketing your work online. It is always a good idea to post ownership notices on your site so there is no questions if an issue arises. Check with www.creativecommons.org. Creative Commons licenses provide a flexible range of protections and freedoms for authors, artists, and educators.
On the top right of their page is a 'License your work' link. from here you can generate code to place on your site (if you're comfortable with HTML) or copy the notice to your computer and then upload it to your MosaicGlobe website where you can place it somewhere conspicuous.

Alex,

You might also consider watermarking your images. There are a number of small programs available on the internet that allow you to embed customized watermarks. While they do muddle the image a bit, most are now sufficiently non-intrusive to show your images well while still acting as a deterrent to theft of your intellectual property.

I have tried both... I made a watermark in photoshop (white/black text then reduce the "fill" or "opacity" i believe it is?) for all my work but then I realized (besides that it ruins the image for viewers), that with images, they are automatically copyrighted for the artist once they are created... by law, as long as you have proof (save originals). so, if someone wants to save the pic for personal use or show some friends, thats all good (hey, free advertising, whats the harm?) BUT if you ever see your image on a site, flyer, card, poster, billboard, commercial or whatever... you can SUE :)

I also have a friendly reminder at the bottom of my page, check out how I have mine set up http://tnezprints.mosaicglobe.com/
